Cafe Cabin entrance door latch receiver
Not sure if anyone can assist me with this or not, but, what the hell....let's see what I get. :)
When my 1987 Cafe was recently restored, the painter.....I assume.....lost the receiver that mounts into the side of the dash board bulk head that accepts the latch and locking mechanism from the sliding cabin door. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase this receiver? Or, due to its age, will I have to have one fabricated? Thanks Guys!!!! |
Have you looked on perko.com? Thats where i have found a lot of the replacement latches.

Not to sound like a broken record but you might try Lip Ship

I hope someone answers this. I have been looking for one since I have owned my boat....

Want me to get a name or number off mine since it is still out of the boat?

-Mike Thank you......I appreciate it! I suppose, maybe, the following.... 1. A photo of the opening in the side of the dash bulkhead. 2. A photo, side shot, of the receiver that fits into the opening. 3. A photo, front shot, of the receiver that the door physically locks into. Other than that, I think that should cover it. Unless you see anything else that you think may be helpful. At the very least, that would help in having one fabricated, if necessary. Oh, with that said, maybe some measurement would be good. So, if necessary, I could provide the fabricator with the photos and some rough measurements. Thanks Mike!!!!! |
