I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the list was 24k each for the Bravo Conversions - don't rely on my memory though....

Well the 1600's are no longer in production as they were superseded by the ASD8's, but for these applications the #7M Kits are the best choice.

The #7M Kits list for $23K each.

How much for the ASD8's with the drop box?

DirtyMoney 04-05-2011 07:23 PM

Which ran better the ASD7 bravo conversion or the ASD8 drop box rotated inward?

The conversion cant be angled in, the ASD8 with the drop box obviously can. The closer you get those props to the centerline, the better you're going to be. So the ASD8 would be the better choice for performance IMO.

they are bada$$ but alot of coin.
i guess if i was doing big power it would be the only way to go/

?? A stagger is a stagger and both can have the same propellershaft centerline so there is no difference in that respect.

The choice comes down to the amount of power the application has, nothing more nothing less.

And the new ASD8 drives are not angled either.
