TRS or Bravos on a Cafe?

Which are better? I've read some pros and cons here, but what is the real deal?

TRS - stronger, slower, parts availability an issue?
Bravo - can't nail it out of the hole, faster, parts available?

Thanks.

Trs are good strong drives and the Cafe was designed around the tranny and that drive but with that being said it will be slower and it will hurt resale. I think it depends on the boat and the price. The trs boat will be a better deal but that may hurt you on the resale. I had a 93 with Bravos and never had a drive issue. Great boats good luck!

resale and speed goes to the bravos, but IMO the TRS boats are balanced better.

You had to flaunt those surface drives in your avitar! :-). Those look real nice.

Balance due to the engines being more forward with the transmissions? I'm looking a one with Bravos.

Since 3 years i do ride a trs cafe without any problems. Certainly you lost 2/3 miles... But they better handle bigger power , switch verry soft. And the lower x dimension helps in big waves to hold the props in water. Your engines will be gratefull.

Just don't kill it getting on plane and you will be fine (as long as you don't have ridiulous power).

I rocked the sh!t out of my Cafe on the Fall River Run came out 1 time on a cruiser wake the whole time.
Aslo ran the fall river to block run in 5's straight as an arrow on landing each time.
Bravo plus is they are all over and pretty easy to get parts or a whole drive easy enought.
TRS has some one making parts again. Depending what your paying it just maybe worth the buy
