As some may/may not know, we are currently redoing our Cafe. New power and new paint. Our Cafe has the 90 MPH paint scheme. We are not going to paint the interior area as it is still in very good shape - only redoing the dash with some carbon fiber and some very small detail items inside. We are completely repainting the outside i.e. hull, deck, drives, tabs, platform, etc...
My question is - can a person play with the sacred Cigarette 90 MPH paint? I am considering putting some pearl in the red. The pearl would not show from 10+ foot, only when you are upon it. Would a Cig owner be turned off by this? Or should I not goof around with the paint scheme and leave it a solid red? I'm checking out samples this Thursday and am really on the fence.
What do you think?

I like the Half-90 over the paint job you have now.
You might try a deep candy burgundy. A friend has such a color on his Fountain, and it's probably one of the best looking boat paint jobs I have seen.

Love that paint job. I would keep the theme and maybe go for for the 90 mph version where the nose of the boat is white and the rear is red cut on the angle . There some Top guns and a flat deck done that way.
