I don't want to break your heart but your boat is not a Cigarette. Check the hull id # and if it doesn't start with CRT then you have something else. What you DO have is one of the greatest (and most copied) hull designs ever. It was originally a Magnum and has been copied by many companies including, P&D, Pantera, Avanti, Jaws and a whole bunch of others. It is commonly referred to now as the 24x7 hull. Very nice boat.

+1, check HIN. Pretty sure cigarette's 24ft boat had a wider beam than the 24/7 boats. I wanna say atleast an 8 or 8.5ft beam.

Cool boat, looks like its in great shape for a 1974.

Sweet new ride! Looks very well rigged!

I would also check the HIN# Here's a few pics of my old '81 24 cig. The early boats (pre 84ish) were 8' beam...

Enjoy your new boat

Thanks for all the comments and you guys all have extremely nice looking boats. That is a let down to hear its not a real one although I will still check it out. I didn't ask to many questions when I feel like I got an amazing deal for 6k just the way it is. I have no clue what this boat would retail in the market. Just having it for about a month and having all the heads turn wherever I go (either for the gf) or whatever is addicting. So I know later on ill be looking into something a little bigger. Once again thanks for all the feedback

Don't worry about it not being and official Cig. Real boat guys know the hull and you'll have plenty of credibility with that boat. The boat still has some of the best lines on any boat out there and is a very capable hull. It's also probably the funnest boat to drive. and for 6k? you cant go wrong.
