Any 39's out there with 1075's and #6 drives? How does the extra weight of the #6 effect the center of gravity?

A buddy of mine wanted 1075's in his when he ordered his from the factory, Tim from Cigarette told him that the boat won't handle as good as the 700/NXT package. Supposedly the boat will get squirly And hard to handle with that recipe. There was one that spun out that had 1075's but not sure if that had anything to do with it. Personally I'd go with 700's with the stage 2 Whipple package which turns 830hp without changing the CG or ride quality, and would deff be above 110 mark.

Aside from "Squirly" at top speed, would the boat still fly level in bigger water while running 60-90 mph?

there are more then that, but not listed. I know of one in LG, and also one in LG with 1100's, or maybe its 1350's

I will be your boat ***** anyday if you get a 39, they are by far my favorite boat out there

Red Matter on the board here has a 39 with 1100's and M8's on LG. While I cant tell you what its like at top speed, I have been on it at 110 and its rock solid.

Not sure I understand why it would be squirrely with those drives. Nor why Cig would build it if it was a problem.

I will see if I can get him to chime in here.
