Default 1995 TG Bilge & Drain

Two questions - How much water should collect in the bilge? Right now say two gallons seems to collect when in the water, pretty quickly. Not enough for bilge pump to kick on. It also has a slight sour odor. I drain bilge, then wet Vac the remaining water out when done for the weekend.

Second - where does the cooler in the Cuddy cabin drain? Does anyone use this often? Good or bad? Wife wants to use it....I am just not sure. Thanks!!

NO water should come in the bilge if everything is working right.

Common places for water to come in in the nature you are talking about would be:

Swivel Seals in the Transom Assembly
Turn Down Exhaust Leaks (my cmi silent choice seals leak about once a year. I hate them)
U-Joint Bellows Leak
Shift Cable Bellows Leak
Toilet Leak
Fresh Water Tank Leak

Cooler drains into the bilge. Personally - I use it as a liquor storage place. We used to use it for ice/etc, but it just wasn't that pleasant, and I decided using a regular cooler that I can take out of the boat and clean was much nicer.

I also have a question about this topic: at the deck on the Cafés are 2 holes for drain. Wehre goes this water? Also in bilge?

I believe these holes are for water to drain that may leak under the two deck hatches.

We don't use the toilet or freshwater so I don't believe that is it. I'll have to look this weekend when it is in the water. Thanks.

Most cigs have a diaphram pump on the firewall with the pick up close to the drain plugs, it pumps out most all water from the bilge. The three we have here all have one.
