OK... A follow up on this one.
I had plans to tow the boat to FineLine Marine Interiors in January to get the side panels and the hatch done and then attend the Miami Boat Show Poker Run.
I got the boat there and had a few days to kill, so we started tearing chit apart. We couldn't figure out why the center piece of the back seat had loosened up, so we pulled it out of the boat. The wood was rotted!!!
At that point, the budget was thrown in the trash and all wood was to be removed from all components. A COMPLETE re-do.
I have to say that Mike and his staff @ FineLine are awesome. Besides being SLAMMED to get a couple of Statements done for the boat show, he kept assuring me that the boat would be ready. I gave him my thoughts on what I wanted and let him run with the design. I wanted plain blue side panel, not a fancy mix of colors. What he did do was to put blue accents on the sides of the headrests, drop-out bolster cushions and edges of the back seat structure. This really set it off in my opinion.
I also didn't want too many Cig emblems on it, so I went with a "custom" design on that (Thanks Speedy
)
All in all, I am VERY happy with the way that FineLine does business and would highly recommend them to anyone!
