Ive ridden in the "Dry Martini" Squadron......seemed heavy, but gave a solid dry ride. Personally, I cant see a difference, but the Squadron is 1ft longer, and has a pretty big engine compartment. What Top Gun are you comparing it to? An 80's top gun or newer model, like a T/S?

squadron will be heavier, and has a different strake setup.
Very few were made, as the Cig contract w/ don was just for a short time.
IIRC, don was only able to make 12 boats a year under it.
