For Me - a boat that "needs TLC" but has a "decent" engine package is worth much less than the one that has been cosmetically redone like the one at LipShip.

Having followed builds and redo's on this site the costs are always under estimated, the time and resources are similarily underestimated, and sometimes people seemed burnt out after all is said and done.

Take the one at LipShip, yank the engines out, sell them to offset the cost of some fresher engines you know are good, throw those in there and you're up and running in less time than you'd spend picking out a guage package for the boat that needs TLC.....

The lipship boat is a steal. Buy that one and repower. There's off brand boats out there with Ssm 3's that you can take all the rigging out of. You will be way ahead time and money.

Agreed the Lipship cig is absolutely the best buy over all right now. If you're thinking of spending mid 50's for this "all original" boat I'd consider spending way less on the better looking boat and upgrade the power later with the money you'll save.

If he's thinking of spending mid-50's tell me where you want mine delivered. It's full of gas, and I'll drop it off full of liquor too....

Hell for an extra 10k I'll leave the truck and catch a flight home.....

Well the lipship cafe is done..it's not really a blank canvas..so its a question of taste, some people might just prefer to have a project and a boat which needs tlc doing it to their own taste instead of just taking someones elses..so either you really like that boat or your better of doing one to your own taste!
