Hi All..... The boat has been sold at my firm price... What a deal for the buyer... These motors are monsters and they have the best of everything.... By the way for the fella that said there was delamination problems better go back to your records... this boat never had this problem. The boat is going to Texas. NO! lets just say that its going to be in good hands,,bill is most likely pulling the engines,,will probably have them inspected, they are low compression engines and if i were bill i would look for a set of 1071's before i put those engines in his 38 tg kevelar hull..
I have already lined up a friend/mechanic to pull the motors and go through them like Jim suggested (mostly the heads and springs). They are already red to match my Top Gun! Jim's Cig will provide the parts I have needed to bring the Top Gun back to life. The engines are already pushing the power capabilities of the SSM IIIs, so blowers are not likely in my plans. I owe you one on the tip. Onwards, Bill |

I see you now know it is a done deal. I'm hoping to get it here in 2 or 3 weeks, but it depends on a few things. See you soon. Bill |

The boat has been sitting because of a 5 year plus brutal divorce.. Kind Regards.....Jim |
I'm not going to argue with you. I emailed the seller on Craigslist, I'm assuming you unless someone was running a scam, and the response I got for the boat not being used the last 7-8 years was delaminating and lifting of an old repair. I apologize if you meant only the gel was lifting but it was not described to me as gelcoat lifting a bit.

We pulled both engines and ran them after changing the oil and rebuilding the Holley Dominators - they fired right up! We will get them cleaned up and add some new parts before transplanting them into the Top Gun. They sound awesome and the oil pressures are great at 65PSI. Here is a run video of the first one. Bill
