the other day I was working in the engine compartment with the boat sitting in the sun and to my surprise I could see the cig logo right through the side of the boat. I know the sides are thin but did not expect that thin. I looked at both sides to make sure and it was the same. i'll post a pic, and it was through the xtra paint in the bilge.

Considering fiberglass is pretty translucent I am pretty sure you are within acceptable parameters. Merry Christmas

Just thin bilge paint, if there was no paint or gel at all the whole boat would be yellowish clear looking... resin is transparent..
