Default Mistress step plates...ideas??

I want to do something different with my step plates on my gunnel, right now they are stainless with 4 small strips of teak, I thought about removing them and covering with a simple white gip tape, any other ideas? they are approx 4" wide by 28" long or so..

A buddy bought a boat that was sprayed with bedliner material right at those areas, and it has worn very well (obviously). You might look to see if you can find someone who does colored bedliner spraying in your area. Red and/or black would look great.

Doing the purple bed liner for the floor in my bullet.

A pice of plastic with cigarette milled into it with LEDs under it for the night time effect. Or some teak with cig in it.

Keep it original. Refinish them. I like the older classic look. Just a thought.

x2 - My old Cig had those as well. The teak strips will slide out and you can scrub the aluminum extrusion, clean the teak and re-insert.
