New old School back seat and hatch cushions for Flat Deck
4 Attachment(s)
After 25+ years vinyl was starting to get brittle and seams were splitting and a little wood rot. It was time for a face lift. Found the original material on line and a local guy that was reasonable on price and stuck to his schedule.

Nice work. Looks great
|
Wow that looks brand new ! Nice!
|
Did he use Expanded PVC Board?
|
Thanks all thought about doing something different but decided to keep it original. The only plywood that was bad was the bottom so I just used pressure treated 3/4 plywood. Lasted 27 years the 1st time No sense in using the PVC board.

Nice Excursion, I got the same color
|
You mind sharing who did the interior? I'm in Minneapolis and it's rare to find someone who knows how to do tuck and roll...Chicago isn't that far to go...
:) |
Looks great Mark. I can definitely understand why you kept it original. I remember having to do the back seat on my Mistress. I was lucky enough to use the same material but replace all the wood.
|
looks great mark!!!!!!! way to keep it original...... and tell the cat to keep its claws out!!!! lol.....
|
Nice work Mark! I can appreciate how you've kept the original look. Very cool.

Came out nice Mark!! but I don't see any special thanks to Mild Thunder for transporting that apparatus. I now have mushrooms growing in the bed of my pickup now. Maybe that's why Toonces is in a better place in that pic. lol
But seriously, Mr. Cigs flatdeck is truly a beautiful boat. Everything Mark has done is extremely tasteful. It would make a great boat to put at Cigarette's booth during a show. Good things... |
