Couple things to think about before you sell...1. is the boat in her name as well? reason is, if it's only in your name it is harder for her to go after it, you have the defense of "she didn't want anything to do with it, now it's only out of spite"
if there is a loan is her name on that? it shows that she had no intent to pay or have anything to do with it, even though you pay for it with "marital" money it looks better for you.
Marital assests goes both ways, if there is something she is extremely attached to, you can use the boat as bargaining leverage.

Plenty of support here. Some of us have been through it. It is scary but not as bad as I thought. The judge told my ex to get a second job if she couldn't take care of herself lol. Boat was in my name, trailer in hers and house was both. Told my atty what I wanted and let him do the work. Best decision I ever made.
