One thing to think about is the insurance policy. Careful if you have an "agreed value" policy, this is normally higher than the boat is worth. Smart lawyers will say that is value you placed on the boat, so this should be the standard not NADA. If so it is now time to change to the regular boat value (NADA).

Your giving a lawyer way to much credit.... The only way a divorce lawyer would investigate anything is if the x-wife prints this out and brings it to them. And honestly he has done nothing wrong in this thread. Just a bunch of guys posting what they have went through in the past!
