Was thinking about it. Was kind of on the fence about it.

Would you believe me if I said they are 420hp each?

Wow 420hp that's way more than I was thinking, I figured for sure you would have built a pair of 365hp.... you know for better fuel economy

That was the original plan, but you know how things go when you start a project. I went with a full cam instead of the 3/4 therefore the extra 55hp. Plans change I guess.

Sarcasm off......they made right at 620. One was 623. I'm happy. When the tire kickers ask about HP at the dock I'm quite sure my standard answer will be 600.

Planning to go see them I person tomorrow night. Might take some more pics while there. Danny and Dustin are burning the midnight oil tonight trying to finish up everything on the transom.

She might get a weekend there mid to late June. First weekend will probably be Grand Lake so everyone can see her. Weekend after that is the Smith poker run on Grand. We usually wait until the water warms up a little before we hit Beaver. I'm sure we will spend most of July there excluding the weekend of the 4th.

Carter sent me a few pics tonight of their progress.

First pic shows the new through hull fittings for the indicator cables installed.

Next one shows the platform installed along with exhaust tips.

Another angle of the platform. I was a little apprehensive about the black at first. I think it was the right choice now. Carter did good on this. (Not that he's done bad on anything else).

That's all for now.

You may see mid 80's with 620hp. Your boat is really coming together nicely
