Looking to buy 30 Mystique

http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2000...s#.VDbZK_4tCM8

Anyone know this boat? What will it run with the 502 EFI motors. Been looking at this one for a long time and really itching for one of these boats.

Thanks for any insight.

Just a guess. Mid 60's. I'm in Middle River. Have fun shopping.

Rattlesnake Jake 10-09-2014 05:59 PM

For that price you could get a 353 Formula.
Just sayin

Or a cafe and put 40k in your pocket!!

I've walked around it, it's kinda rough, and really rough at that price. Drives and tabs show salt signs, quite a few gouges in the gel and scratches in the paint. It's been sitting on that lot outside for at least a year. Haven't seen the interior since it does have a cockpit cover. There was like a 01 or 02 listed a few months ago with way better paint, to me, and blue motors for mid 50's.

Well that settles that... Was skeptical about the boat because it does not have Blue Motors and with knowing all the roughness...its a pass.

Thanks,

If your still looking for a Mystique I think OSO member Boomer 35 had his for sale, don't know if he sold it or not..

Got Cigs 10-10-2014 10:54 AM

Got Cigs 10-10-2014 11:01 AM

Thanks,

That boats been for sale along time, it looks rough, non blue motors, would take a lot of work to bring it back....there was a real nice blue and orange one that I think it was Grand sport had for sale..

ItsPeanut 10-12-2014 05:35 AM

Where did Boomers boat get sold too??

Boomer35 10-12-2014 06:02 AM

Lake Wylie

badmonkey 10-12-2014 07:50 AM

The Blue Orange one at Grand Sport is sold and gone...This is not going to be an easy task. Nothing worth it ever is.

Kurt indeed still has it, don't know that he would ever part with it, nor would I blame him!

I was told only three T/S Mystiques. I love it, had a straight bottom Top Gun for 10 yrs, loved it but really like the 30 footer. It's nimble and goes like hell.

Gordo 02-04-2015 08:49 AM

I know some guys dream of a 38 Top Gun, a 42 Fountain, a 36 Skater, and so on...
but this boat is the one that has always "done it" for me. :drool1:

I think they made 4 of them, I almost bought the first one ,until the owner decided at the last minute his kids wanted to keep it, they wanted to cut open the deck and make a bow rider out of it:mad::mad:. Was in AZ. and was the one that was on ebay a few years back, it started life out as a small block boat, and the last owner put 502 whipple motors in it... The last pic is the interior of one that's in NJ. couldn't post the pic of the boat for some reason 536548[/ATTACH
