Mistress repower #2 begins....

I know you are...I know you'll get everything fixed up soon enough...I know I was pretty impressed by the way you were logging everything with the motors the last time I was over...stuff happens to the best of us no matter how hard you try to prevent it...let me just say that if you're ever at The Keys at Put n Bay and are going to dock on the outer wall closest to the restaurant...back in. lol. They dredge 40' off that dock...well, 38' boat, 40' dredged...not much room to swing it. Been in that area couple different times with no problem...stuff happens...

I'll never forget trying to leave there one Sunday after a two nighter. Someone on shore had to pull me off the rocks!!! Outdrives couldn't be trimmed down it was so shallow. For some reason they thought it was a good idea to put me all the way up front in a 29' cruiser with 30" draft. Not sure why I didn't object, last spot left on a Holiday weekend I think.

Don't get me wrong...we love the place...docks are very nice there...just stay close to the outer wall if docking on that wall...just don't want anyone to do what I did...if anyone doesn't believe me, I know of a good prop guy on Port Clinton. lol.

Shortblocks together, oil pans on, head should be here tomorrow and hope to see those home by Thursday, spend Thursday evening and Friday assembling top ends, maybe get in boat and running by Sunday if things go well...
Lifter bores are .0020-..0022 across the board, lifters are back from Johnson, rockers on way back, heads will have guides opened up.... I don't see any reason for more issues....I hope lol

Hope everything goes as planned and hope you have zero issues this time around. I've been a little gun shy every time out since your mishap since we basically built the same motors. I've got several hours on mine though so hopefully I'm in the clear. Good luck bud.
