So, all in all it was a great Saturday. After swim platform and hatch there were several hours of putting other stuff back together, and the satisfaction of hearing it running again by day's end.

There are still several things to put it all back together and boy does it need a bath. This hot of the foredeck shows all the pollen that covers everything.

The Fives were 1.5 ratio, and on boxes, the Sixes 1.61 ratio, and 12" farther back on boxes. It has been running 17 x32" Hering 5 blades.. The fives were installed canted to get the prop shafts even closer. We installed the Sixes straight up to gain a little room and allow 17.5 diameter props to clear each other. The Sixes are on 18 1/2" centers. Rub rail, deck hatches, windshield, bow rail, cabin center headliner left to install. Should be testing by Thursday. Then boat trip this weekend. We installed the slide in mufflers in the tailpipes, should be able to sneak up on the water patrol now. Maybe only hear it coming for 4 miles, instead of 5 miles.
And yes, he wanted to keep those heavy, antique, obsolete, slow, heavy, heavy, big Ass flaps

Looks great, nice job guys!!!

At 100 mph that gives the water patrol 2.4 minutes to figure out what to do. I think you'll be ok.:boat:

Nevertheless, it was a very productive day.. The new platform looks great. I especially appreciate the attention to detail that Chris Cruz brings to a project. Not only is the artwork awesome, he adds the details like extending his art "around the corner" to integrate his platform design into the rest of the design.

May you PM me Chris's number. He's local to yall ?
