Finally have some updates. Have changed from double engine hatches to one single. Wanted to have a Cigarette logo on the the hatch pad, difficult with double hatches. More importantly, the engines are now installed. Dan at Archer Marine did a great job.

Nice work, can't wait to see it finished. I don't think I've ever seen a 41.

Thanks to all for the encouragement. I really want to run a trial this summer. It may not be complete by then but enough to run it!

I’m wanting to use the engine hatch actuator I see on lots of newer guns. The arm looks to be out of aluminum and is actuated by a hydraulic ram. Anyone know where I can buy this? New or used.
Thanks in advance for information.

You can have the Aluminum part fabricated based on your design and hatch pretty easily. As for the ram. A TRS Hydraulic Cylinder and a Drive Pump works Great. Fast, Easy Solution.

Thanks for the feedback. I could draw something up for the aluminum arm and mount...I even have a couple trs rams and pump that they used on the original hatches. Thanks again

Thanks for your input!

I wouldn’t do the Li ion on a boat.

im big fan of the retro stripe jobs and the newer gun with the red deck
