I agree Mark. Personally I like yours and Ryans. The boats are timeless.. The paint on that one resembles a newer boat, which is great but not my style.. For reseons "previously stated" its not a reality for me anyway..

Talked to a guy yesterday w a 90 Cafe in MD, low hr bbc, bravo boat, pretty decent trailer, new interior. 35k Found a 93 TG in CT hp500s dont know the hrs yet, xz drives on a aluminum trailer 35k.. Those are the latest findings.. Stuff is popping up. |
Bravo and flat deck should never be, it's hard enough to keep TRS's on my mistress as it is....I would look at SSM boats... I wish mine was...

Rhythm and Blues where do you live? I can check out the TG in CT if needed. My guess tho it might be rough for 35k...
In Maine; I appreciate the offer but I'm going to drive down and look at two or 3 boats in 1 wack hopefully. I work two weeks on two weeks off. Tonight I get off the boat; free for two weeks.. I want to go look at the TG, Cafe in Md and maybe a clean 357SR1 in Pa. |

Why you guys selling your sweet boats? Other plans?
|
Mark picked up a sweet 40ss formula last year and I never know what I'm doing. I get bright ideas but don't know if they will work out.

I've heard reciently that in a strait bottom TG, Kevlar vs Fiberglass layup is +/- 1000lbs..
Although I did read the Kevlar was only used in the engine compartment which I doubt but you know how the internet is.. I heard that about scarabs where they used kevlar to tab the bulkheads in the engine area |
rhythm and Blues how is the search coming?

It would be interesting to know how many boats are available that fit your requirements, Wanting a boat that doesn't need immediate work (thinking engine/trans/drive/wet hull) and under $40K. Are you expecting a trailer aalso at that price ?
Shoot, i have one of those (all good with fresh engines).... under 40k I even had it posted here and no buyers LOL |
