I did not consider that but it is a good point. I just don`t know anyone who has done that and what affects it would have. Deleting some of the rear strake has been done before with good results. Our boats do need as much bow lift as possible thou.. hmmmm

Knot For You: I have my reasons, rather not get into it .
With Bowkers, I like the price( a lot) cleanliness of the shop, updates with pictures, communication and he`s done a ton bottoms.etc etc.

Bowkers did that work to my 34 SCARAB - I only gained about 1 MPH but it did settle the transom and helped handling in the rough. He also did all of the work on my Daytona.
He does good work for a fair price.
