Mr. Cig.
How have you been? I haven't used the boat much, been too busy. Only have 21 hours on it!!! Next season I'm thinking about keeping it at Hammond on a lift. Maybe then I'll get out on it more. Keep in touch. Mike

Mike,
Good to hear from you. We are going to keep our boat in Hammond also next year. I bought a lift already I'm just waiting to see what slip I get. They won't know until December when the 1st. payments are due. I am hoping to get on T dock my second choice is V dock. We'll see what happens.
Are you going to make the COPS Halloween party at Hammond on October 26. It should be a good time.

Mr.Cig.
I don't think I will make the party, planning a trip out of town.
What size slip are you going to be in? I recently spoke to the marina director and he stated a 38' boat on a lift needs to be in a 45' slip. He also stated I didn't need a reservation for a 45'. There are plenty of them available.
Where did you get your hoist from? Which brand did you go with?
Is T or V dock the place to be? Why?

Mike,
There are alot of 38 footers on lifts in 40 foot slips on T dock.
I bought my lift from a guy who sold his 38 Baja that was on T dock. It a 12,000 lb Hydro Hoist.
T dock is the place to be thats where most of the offshore boats are. T dock is 40 foot slips V dock is 45 foot slips.
They may have changed something about 38's on lifts needing to be in 45 foot slips but I haven't heard anything.
The main dock is alot more fun then the west side of the marina.

Greek Lightning / Mike -
OT here, but you have the best looking Top Gun I have ever seen
That paint is absolutely stunning.
I saw your TG on the Cigarette Owners Poker Run / Reunion that Stu put together back in March or April . . . my girl and I rode along with Hal and Mindy on their new TG " Miller Time " though there was no name on it then.
Mark -
you're Paulie's brother ? You and I may have met . . did you go to the Cigarette party at Billboard during the Miami boat show ? I saw / talked with Paulie and Mike as they were going into Billboard and we were coming out, and there was a few people with them . . . just curious. Say hello to Paulie and Mike for me if you talk with them anytime soon.

Jamie, thanks for the compliment. Could you describe which Cig you were on. I think I know who you are but I can't be sure.
A few days ago I received the pictures from Stu Jones from that run. They look incredible. First time I saw my boat from a Helicopter's perspective. Video should be coming soon also.
Mark,
I ended up buying a 20000 lb Hydrohoist. It was used only one season and had been sitting in dry storage for about 4-5 years. It's massive. Now I have to figure out how to move it to Hammond. I am dealing with a guy from Oselkas' Marine that does that kind of work. I going to have it disassembled and moved to my shop then moved again to Hammond in the spring. Sounds like a lot of work but I want to get it out of the storage yard so it doesn't get blocked in until late May. I want to have the hoist in the water end of April. Over the winter I'm going to have a full cover made for my boat. It will cover down to the chines. Do you have a cover or have you given one any thought?
Keep in touch. Mike
