estimate to paint 42 Cig

looking at a boat that's been sitting ,neglected, and custom paint / graphics are past faded; boat needs new paint.
Ball park ideas on cost to paint hull and deck solid red in either Imron or Awlgrip?

What boat specifically.
The 42 revolution (and evolution flat deck models) is the same hull as the first Tiger. The problem with them is that dash and deck. They are not too sought after due to the "dramatic lines". They're heavy beasts.

On Yachtworld, saw it today. Jacksonville, Fl. area I think. I know nothing about it, have a call in to the dealer.
thisistank, I read here some of what you said: heavy; also hard on drives, one comment about bulkhead issues at one time.
Pics there are apparently old, and limited in scope.

I have no first hand knowledge of bulk head issues with them. I do know this. They pop up from time to time and unless you're getting the stripped down and beat up one for basically free it may be worth it to look into one of the ones that are actually seaworthy. The price point on them are low. In other words, you're going to be waaaaaay more into a total restore on one than it'll be actually worth. Just my .02

If this is the one you are talking about and shows as well as it does in the pics than that's not a bad price. Keep in mind that these models will only go down in value as they are not sought after. Also keep in mind that you will be blowin drives as these are HEAVY boats and bravos do not like that. I don't care what anyone says " it's all about how you drive it" if that's the case buy a sailboat. These boats are to be driven. Good luck.
