Yea, ive tried all kinds of cushions, padding etc to prevent the slide to the center. No matter what I tried we end up sticking together. Lol. Not always fun on those warm summer nights.

I had a 97 and my current 2000 TS has a 1/2 cover girl cabin like yours. With the filler cushions made a huge bed and it was the best. Lots of air with hatches open above you too.

Problem solved! That material saved some lbs but it's notorious for stretching and breaking.

Does that mean you could add a full berth up in the front of a t/s (like in the 90's era cafes and guns) without throwing off its balance? The convertible couch / bed combo really makes the cabin livable if you're into weekending and overnighting, i had wondered if it could be done without much extra weight. Not that I'm in the market for a t/s, but its nice to have a mental image to daydream about!

Well, there is an extended cover girl cabin that has the bed and the couches in the TS. But from my experience whether it's a TS or a straight bottom, you have to be careful with weight at the bow. Though I don't think a thin sheet of ply or compressed board to remedy the hammock affect in v birth of the full cabin boats would affect the CG too much.
