Not selling. Waiting for Clifford to pop up for sale. Probably wont be at Venetian this year. But we will be around.

You and me both, I should have bought that when it was for sale last, but was too knee deep in the Gun. Why no Venetian? just curious.

Looking good! I am in the middle of restoring the cabin on mine...I am trying to convince myself not to rip the whole thing out! For the floor, what thickness of plywood did you use? Planning to paint it or carpet?

All I can say is that is cool. Can’t wait to see it finished.

Its 1/2" but we are laying glass on both sides. Not sure on flooring yet either seadeck or blood wood.

Way cool project! Thx for sharing.

Particularly interested in the cabin door redesign. I have a similar project on my much smaller 25' Checkmate.
As someone who weekends on their smaller boats,it always cracks me up to see boats w/a decent size cabin w/a tiny ass entry door.
I waited for yrs to buy one of these Checkmates and that is why.
I've owned two 24' Sonics that had hatches above cabin doors that is a HUGE advantage.

Current design has molded in gauge pods as well as other features that I dont think I can save. Afraid its going to be a similar project to yours ;)
As to earlier questions on mold construction, I have done similar.
When you're only building one part, you can make the mold as a sacrificial part as I did when building the sun lounge for one of my Sonics.
A carefully laid bead of caulk makes a quick/easy radius on the edges.

I am local to you and look forward to seeing your jewel in person.
When you do your project ('s) correctly, how can you ignore the issues we uncover while doing them? Kudo's to you for having the stomach to see it through.
Many owners (especially DIY'ers) get half in and bail.

Congrats for sticking to it.

We just have no other choice at this point. We filled in all of the old fuel fills and other deck holes. Replacing the floor, cleaning up the engine bay, two spots that some of the tagging was cracked in the enginebay. Now we are moving the fuel tank forward 7 inches and attaching the rear bulkhead straight down. Which will lead to removing and having the tank inspected . Also changing the fuel fill from 1-1/4" to 2" and possibly adding a second fill so we can fill from either side of the boat. We are also adding a second fuel tank in the bow for an additional 45 gallons.

There isn't much left to remove...

Fuel tank out . Rear bulkhead is out stringers are cut and ready to be rebuilt. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...78e3cbce5b.jpg
