When you re-assemble everything, don't forget to fit the aircon.... .:(

Looks like a very thorough job, look forward to seeing the finished product.

Me too. The only unfortunate thing is I don't think it will be 100% completed for another year or two. We planned dto do this in a couple years not right now and we don't have the time or funds to do the entire project.

The cabin will be finished but the cockpit is going to get put back together so we can use it. It is going to get a refit in a year or two so we don't want to spend time and money on stuff that we are going to do in few years anyway.

Holy major rebuild.

Love the old 36s ,cool to see one saved and improved and ran.

I know it is way late to be a Monday-morning quarterback , but why didn't your glass guy suggest doing some cored panels in the cabin?

Seems you could have saved at least 300 pouunds, I know those 36s are no lightweights but the opportunity to pull some weight out of the nose seems lke a good thing in any performance boat.

I take it that you will be using A/C on shore power only or are you installing a generator?

It's all 1/2 ply and very light. We took a ton of weight out of it guessing by the time we are done it will be 7-800 lbs lighter. You should have seen how much we ground out of it.

Side panels are going to be a simple stretch bulkheads covered and simple pads for the berth and couches. Going for simple and light over comfort and bring. Hoping it will turn out nice and very usable.

Yes shore power only. No gen set. As we get further in the project we are going to try to get rid of anything that is not necessary.
