Default Carbon Top guns

Does anyone know if the X was raised on these four boats, sense they were purpose built for racing ? or standard height for a TS.

I like my boxes too. I did do away with the u joints and bolt right to flywheel and had a longer shaft and back to coupler when I did SCXs.

How did these boats leave the factory, I know the Mercury 500 was the spec engine in F2 at the time but what about the drives, XR's on boxes ? were boxes permitted at the time,

They would have been XR's on the transom. No Boxes on a step bottom in APBA or SBI.

500EFI in the LipShip boat with bravos (not sure if XR were available?). MAXX and Speed Racer had HP500 Carbs. Team Virgin, I can't remember if it had EFI or carb. 525EFI did not come out until 2003.
