on the other thread you mentioned the new boat has extension boxes and the engines are moved forward.

stellings boxes and driveshafts off the flywheel or
imco boxes w/ the bravo driveline that uses the standard rubber coupler on the fly wheel

totally agree engine(s) moved forward will improve balance.
i extended my engine room 21 inches. it's 64 inches long now from transom to fuel tank bulkhead @ crank center line for just that reason

my engine is is being mounted 12 inches forward past stock bravo location 8 1/2 inches. (transom to bell surface)
that means the bell housing mounting surface will be 20 1/2 from the transom @ crank center line.

some one mentioned you doing a build thread for the new boat,
agreed, everyone likes them and there is often a lot "**** that's a good idea" moments for the other members.
searching the old threads for info and tech tips saved me from starting some new threads.

good luck and post the pics that go along w/ the re fit

Are you putting in drive guardians while the motors are out?

Aw **** Tim, tell those naysayers to eat a fat dick; who cares what anyone else says... You're going to do it your way.
I for 1 would love a good Cafe thread!

You`ve managed to piss of 90% of the internet, I tried to explain why but you don`t get it. Continue to blame it on "haters" . Good luck with that. Not even remotely the reason thou.
