Did a quick dyno sim for tim.

merlin 345 flow file
10.6:1
254/254 114lsa .595/595 lift flat tappet cam
single plane
dominator

The low lift cam and mediocre head flow seems to be the limiting factor. More lift would help it breathe at higher rpm. Or better heads. The duration is in range imo.

I can't remember exactly, can look but my other set may be 16.5x26 with 4'hub if you want to try them.

mine are 16.5 diameter x 27 pitch

The few sheets joe did for me earlier showed a 13hp gain from 5000-5500, not even worth effort of a prop change, I think this boat is still set up the way it left Cig/Hawk so it’s seeming to be spot on with what it is supposed to

Break out the die grinder, it’s a long winter. Rocker ratio?

Well, now that halloweeen on islands is over I will say I’m done for season, was going to possibly go but 42 degrees and rain just isn’t fun to me...

been a a great season, went boating every weekend from beging of may, until beginning of October, I can’t conplain...

one engine issue that i fixed in July, now need to freshen other engine heads so I don’t have that again, cleaning and painting things this winter making more details nicer.

It does feel good to put boat away on my terms.
