What slip length for 35' or 38' TG
Hello,
I'm located at LOTO and I would like to get a boat now vs. waiting to buy larger dock. My longest slip is 32'.
Does anyone have a part of their boat hanging out the end of their slip? I would consider getting a back-in lift, so the bow of the boat would be sticking out. Not sure if that really matters, but I want the lift to support the hull, to help reduce getting a hook in the hull..
I might extend the roof line-outward (if that's permitted), to help protect from weather, but to modify my dock (extend the slip) would cost ~ 1/4 the cost of a new dock.
Appreciate everyone's input.

I put a 43 Black Thunder stern in into a 40 foot slip for several years. Had a cover made for the deck from the nose back to the windshield to help with sun fade.
