My comment on the dark coloured bilge is that I have always liked a light coloured bilge for 2 reasons , looks cleaner ( personal taste ) and second much easier to spot any type of oil or water leak . Downside harder to keep clean . RG .

Total agree. I am leaning towards a lighter silver. Trying to picture this black and silver combo with black hardware in my head. I have had plenty of time to think as I have about 45 hours of block sanding done already lol

Well after a solid week of block sanding the transom filling spots and re block sanding until it’s perfectly flat I finally drilled exhaust holes.... my poor wrist hurts lol sanded the inside of the holes and put a piece of 1.5 ounce mat on them. I left it stick out then after it cured I sanded till it was flush and know have a perfect seal. No more water and rott if water does get past the seal. Transom is al ready for gel coat. Hoping to get that Done next week. .
