Sweet update on an old school boat. Hope your project goes smooth. Are you going to raise the "X" at all while you're in there?

Ok guys looking for input I have the 575 motors I bought them as a running take out package ran great for 2 seasons . Doing basic tune up this year they have the smaller pulley and a tune in them already they run very strong. We’re checking to see if someone put roller cans in there along the way I was going to have the blowers rebuilt this winter heard there a weak point. What do you guys think rebuild them or sell them and do the 8-71 conversation. Do you think the 8-71 would add more power ? At least a difference that we would noticed ?

The 871's will make a significant difference. There are also issues with TBI system being restrictive. Check out Eddie Young's injection upgrade package.
The ECM's would also need reprogrammed again.

Ok thanks!! I read that the fuel is good to about 700hp ? Not trying to get to crazy just done maintenance. I know the blower that they come with is a bit small. I’ll give him a call thanks again !
