I am not impressed with the maps on the Garmin GO7 I have ... look similiar to that one.
Also next unit I`m getting will have some knobs, the touchscreen is a real fun time to try and hit while youre getting bounced around.

Dan the GO7 is a simrad not garmin.
Garmin is the easiest to use, most user friendly. If you can operate an iPhone, you can operate most functions of a garmin. That said they are not necessarily the best for every application.

FYI, you can drop a navionics card in either the simrad or garmin unit and they will easily synch with your phone.

To be honest it’s been a ride for sure I went back tonight and scrolled threw the thread it’s amazing how much I have done to this rig. I’m a short time this rig will be taking a trip to get color. As well as bring home another boat that was bought by a good friend of mine. We will document that as well! I’m sure he will start a thread on his new ride as he just joined oso. He will be slowly fixing up his new ride as he uses it. I can confidently I really thing spring 2023 my project will be on the water
