35 Playboy HIN Question
 

Can someone verify that this HIN from a 35 Cigarette is a playboy edition?

The HIN was hard to read but here's what we could decipher from it.

Did Cigarette only make 35 Playboys in 02?

My memories a bit foggy but there was only like 5 official playboys made (with licensing through playboy and the bunny logo all over the boats I want to say two blacks, two blues and a white) And a total of like 12 or so total 35 twin step mystique / playboy / TS 35’s made. Best bet is if you show photos of the boat you’re referring to people could confirm on here if it’s an original playboy.

I do not have any photos of the boat at this point, but I did see it in person.

It is an 02 with all original crazy splash graphics. Owner claims it is a playboy, but I was just trying to verify this through the HIN number.

I read on NADA guides that the only 35 that Cigarette made in 2002 was a playboy edition.

yes. That is correct. Then they changed the name to mystique because the licensing agreement with playboy ended. I’m sure it’s a playboy. If you get pics people here will know the boat for sure.

Sorry I have to correct my statement. The others weren’t mystiques those are the 30’s. The other 35 TS were dubbed mistresses. Bobby text me and scolded me. :D ;)

hull number one was built with 500EFI’s. It was black with playboy graphics and all the transom hardware and motors were powder coated silver. It also had mahogany floors and all vessels and handles were polished. It was / is absolutely beautiful. So classy. It was used as the PR boat and was campaigned with the 3 playboy models on runs and stuff.

heck if I know. The playboy vins are kinda funky.
