Personally I'm not a fan of blower surge.
A lot of efi's have a timing vs rpm table for idle. Higher idle rpms usually you pull timing, lower than target rpm you add timing. No switch needed.
I know quite a few guys that don't run an iac and just use the idle rpm vs timing table with good results.

I think you`re missing the entire point of a fun switch that makes the boat surge .. but if you don`t like surge then this switch is not for you

It was a pretty long time ago, so maybe not able to control it. Ran into them a few times in FL and it was badddddd azzzzzz. They made most of their own stuff. Their older cat had carbs, 14-71's, Big Chiefs, #6's, and etc..., and that would surge hard as they came idling in thru the inlet in Fort Meyers Beach on the Lovers Key side..BTW: Really great people, in the short times I leaned over the side drooling like a Mstaff in 100 degree weather. LOL.
Anyway, again, I think they where making things on their own to deal with this but electronic technology wasn't good enough yet.

That super high pitch blower surge Sorcerer made with those dry exhaust was INSANE! Almost like the "zing" you hear when a #6 prop jumps out of the water when running hard. Didn't it have the GIANT PSI blowers in it? What ever happened to that thing?

its been a while but i think those massive blowers on scoceror were there design. they were ahead of there time for sure. ill never forget the first time he came rolling thru party cove in there little talon with one of those massive engines in it. was definitely the center of attention!
