I started writing this a couple times and stopped but I gotta say, I'm not making any excuses but Cigarette has been through many owners over the years that didn't manage information very well plus much of the old stuff was pitched into the trash when they moved from 188th St to the new building (you should've seen all the cool stuff they left behind that Steve Schuble got his hands on!). On top of that, Bud was always the one that they would forward the inquiries too for older stuff but alas, he is now retired. I don't see any research into older boat inquires getting any better under the new ownership. And not that I agree that they wont make an engine hatch logo for older boats, I do 100% understand WHY they wont. the time spent to income ratio just isnt there on top of it's a headache to go back and forth and potential to get into a pissing match over a $1k job just isn't worth it to tie up resources for when they're trying to keep up with new orders. Like I said, it is very unfortunate but I do understand their point.

Ken who'd you use? I'm going to look into getting one made when I redo my interior.

Ive heard of issues with the chic on fb.. from shop that have used her... best bet for quality would be to work with the shops that cig worked with, such as Mike at Fineline, PPI, blue Marlin upholstery all are south florida based and have the ability to do the embroidery, Phil always has a line on getting many of the widgets that break for older boats and lists them on his site. My next job will go to fineline or blue marlin.

So will you just have your interior guy stitch it into the new pad in an oval pattern?

Looks good. Not sure who did it, but seems like a relatively quick turn around time all things considered
