Oh, baby, that looks close in there. Does the hatch close all the way? If it were me, I would rig some hoses and take it out and run it hard, before I drilled any more holes. Just sayin...

Default Good report

Good report on my nightmare.

fired off the port side today and ran for quite a while at various RPMS and some breaks in between on the hose.

Absolutely zero water in my oil for the first time in a very long time it seems! I hated to go to dry exhaust but I did what I thought was gonna save my a$$ and put an end to the witch hunt!

Going to do a couple more oil changes to make my self feel better but so far so good!

Default .

Don’t mind my ugly hoses hanging out testing purposes only today.

87CigCafe,

I can remember when my dad swapped a 350 out for a 454 in our '77 Suburban. We were at the shop that did the swap when they fired it up for the first time, with just the exhaust manifolds, and drove it over the trench to do the exhaust work. When they shut it off, my dad and I looked at each other and both of us said, "Sounds fine to me!"

Thanks. Brad.

Default Starboard side

Got the starboard side fired off again. So far so good on water and oil here at home. She sounds rowdy!

went ahead and rebuilt both sea water pumps as well today also.
