Post #11, 6th picture down. Is that the hull bottom? What do you do about that? Grind it out like the transom and replace that too? I am confused. Looks like you have a good pattern for the transom at least. Lot of work but it will be very satisfying when done!

It is the box built for the bilge pump to sit on. I tore it out to have room to tie transom into the bottom 12” or so. It will be built back.

Hi Scotty , when I replace that pad for the bilge pumps I used composite , that way you don't have to worry about water rotting the wood through the screw holes . I used Star board for those types of pads and Marine plywood for the transom and stringers . Keep up the good work . Cheers RG .
