It’s sad but some people will only buy things or believe it’s better if that particular thing costs a lot of money. I bet if you put two exact same under armor T-shirts next to each other on clothing racks, on with a price tag of $25 and one with a price tag of $200, the people that are buying these cig clothes would also buy the $200 T-shirt just because it costs more. In their mind it’s “better”

Price increases give the impression that it’s better quality clothes. The woman’s lines look like athletica junk and the men’s look like under armour.

on the watches. Omega is no where near Rolex. Omega use eta movements and slap omega logos on it. Much like breitling, panerai, etc. Rolex design and manufacture all movements in house. You pay for it along with marketing.
Sounds lime you know you’re watches,I just threw in a couple of names we all recognized.

How about Rolex V Tudor…..Aren’t they the same movement? (but a very different price)

Back on the Cig story, I don’t think they care too much, they’re in the boat business and there’s a lot more profit building boats than selling clothes. To those fortunate enough to buy a new boat, I’m sure if they ask nicely, they’ll get some T-shirts and caps thrown in free. That shows how Cigarette truly value the clothing line.

I miss the old apparel. Design and price.
I disagree, look at this, they didn't even go that far, they just put logo on the zipper,

Honestly, I don't think Cigarette is in the business of building boats anymore, at least not under the current ownership. Their focus really seems to be on "lounge wear" aka sweatpants.

For whatever reason, the current ownership seems to be obsessed with Scott Disick. He has a clothing brand called Talentless, basically just lounge wear (read: sweatpants). Cigarette's clothing/apparel/merch and marketing is basically a carbon copy of this style. And I suppose this tracks, as the "c-suite" team at cigarette is basically wealthy, late teens/early 20's tiktok obsessed gen z'ers.

Basically the current cigarette ownership wants to be the kardashians. They want tiktok followers. They want you to buy their #merch. Smash that like button. Don't forget to subscribe. The fast boats just make a cool back drop for their content. This is more or less what the tiktok generation aspires to, and that's who's running cigarette.
