Default 38 Flatdeck “over compensated” any info?

Hey guys, so I put a small deposit on a 1984 38 Flatdeck named “over compensated”. Was wondering if anyone had some insight on the history of this boat. Apparently the boat was from Texas at one point and went up to Ohio. The gentleman who restored the boat passed years ago and sat after the restoration. Seems to have put a ton of time and money into paint and up dates. Motors are un known but run. Have 871 blowers and super chillers. Believe the drives are #2s or 3s with sportmaster lowers, borg transmissions. It’s a dream boat of mine for what I think is a fair price. Apparently Kevlar hull too. Haven’t seen it in person yet but pictures/videos make the boat look amazing for its age. Will post some now

Cool boat!

I saw some of your posts on FB and didn't want to comment and seem negative but hopefully someone on here has some good info. I would definitely recommend asking OSO more questions before you buy it though.

Thanks guys. Was debating taking it without power for low 30s but I think if the power checks out I should be ahead of the game. I just wondered what the history of the hull was or if there was any info on the resto.

30k was a guess assuming there's is a recent survey stating no transom or stringers rot! Otherwise that is a whole different story...
