38 Flatdeck “over compensated” any info?

Congrats. Looks like a great boat. Don't bother with 5's. Get yourself a nice set of 3A's for better reliability and she will be a wave crusher for years to come. The effort to convert to 5's is not that rewarding for gains in speed for such a heavy boat.

I thought that SSM#2's and TRS drives both had the same transom assembly or at least the same bolt pattern? If so, then maybe you can find a pair of Konrad 540's or whatever Konrad makes these days..... is Konrad still in business??

the TRS assembly and upper TRS drive were the same as SSM 2
the only difference would be the SSM2 lower fits on the TRS upper
So anything else like cig28 mention will need some new parts!

SSM’s being easiest but hardest to get parts for.
Wet sump #6s being the best but most expensive
Bravos only benefit is probably being cheapest down the road.
Really just depends on what becomes available or easily accessible for me at this point. Probably leaning towards SSM’s

that off of 206? If so then yes lol. I boat mainly up in the Navesink/raritan with my 24 Pantera. But the cig will probably be in the barnegat-raritan bay mostly. Occasional trip down to the Chesapeake.
