Hey Griff!! Been a long time!
Yep, that's her! Had Vincent put an updated larger oval on it and get rid of the cursive script on the sides when he was doing some other work...
She's been great but its time for something newer...
I'll see if I can find some updated pics... havent taken selling pics yet

Always liked that paint. Nice ride!
I'd list it here (cheap), Boattrader (fairly cheap) Powerboatlisting.com (free) and marketplace (free). We listed our restored Cafe a couple years ago. think i started at 90k, ended up selling for 73k in about 6 moths. Went to a nice guy out in Cumberland. I "think" he found it on boattrader.

IMO and knowing your boat some, I'd guess that if PBC or BT listed it, they'd prob start with an asking price around 100k and after its all said and done, you'd prob net 75k ish.
Biggest problems are you will need a cash or HELOC buyer and then the buyer being able to find insurance.

Insurance is available, its not cheap, I've been going through Wozencraft the last several years and its been fine... it goes up a little every year but that is what it is.
Financing would be quite foolish IMHO... on something like this

Hey, thanks....
It had the Stock 525SC's and at rebuild time we swapped the 454 blocks with 502 long blocks from Baker Engineering.
Blower Shop Blowers (250's) on but their not putting out a lot, maybe 3-4 lbs... been wanting to put smaller pully's on and play with the props but I just don't get to use it like I used to.

I think you'd be surprised. There's buyers out there that can make it happen. Boats of this vintage are still selling all the time. It's just not public knowledge. List it at 89 OBO. It looks really nice. Had 525SC's with bulldog blocks in our 95 gun. Great boat.
Get that thing out on the water for the Cig run. We're towing out, hope to see you there. Maybe you'll change your mind on selling then! LOL

I am planning on selling it directly but I dont think your numbers are off... in a perfect world, I d like to get low to mid 80's on it.

it gets even smaller when considering the money is to be used on a 30 yr old go fast boat. No offense.
I hope you get every penny of 85-90k. I just know from experience that just might not be reality. There are a lot of old flat bottoms out there selling for much less. The only ones sitting seemed to be priced near the six figure mark.
added to the fact that many buyers in this price range might take the leap for a twin step if they can find one in the 110-130k range.

Damm...that is a beautiful boat! 10 years ago I would have been all over it. At 77, I am keeping my VR 1.
Good luck....If I were you, I would consider keeping it. To replace that would be astronomical.

Oh you aint wrong man, on any of the points, I hear ya...
6 figures just doesn't seem realistic to me but I agree, I have seen a couple of them.
I'm hoping with it being located at LOTO it helps me some but in reality, i'm seeing the writing on the wall.
Hope yours sell soon man!
