Default New Cigarette site??

Have you guys seen the new site? It's nice!!
Can someone explain to me the difference between the Tiger t/s (yes, I know twin step) but whats the XP?? Both look the same. Is the XP the revised version with the steps changed on the Tiger to handle bigger power??

the T/S:

The XP:

And check out the Cigarette Rough rider Concept boat:

New site looks nice...the new boats just keep getting better every year!

tank,

The XP refers to the repositioning of the step configuration in order to change the balance of heavier engine/drive options.

Thats what I figured....But I figured they (Cig) would've stopped making the other designed Tiger due to it not working as well. Does the new XP not handle smaller motors and drives as well as the original TS? I would think if someone was in the market for a new Tiger they would just get the better stepped bottom. Why make both?

Oh, and one other thing....I see they went back to calling the 35 a mystress...Thats cool, I think they never should've had a 35 AND a 38 Top Gun.......though they should've given props to Craig Barrie and went back to calling the 35 a cafe racer (gotta love that name!!)

I kind of like bringing back the Mistress name. I always thought that played into the mystique a little better than Cafe...

On the XP vs T/S, as I understand it, the XP merely has the steps further back to compensate for a heavier drivetrain.

I think the party line is, with sixes and heavy iron, the XP is the route to go. With 575's and below, the TS is the hot ticket.

Obviously, unless you have the financial ability and wherewithal to take both versions and test them back to back with the different drive trains, you'll never know for sure. I'd probably lean towards taking their word for it.

Interesting, I don't see the 31 listed, is this the death of the 28-31 foot boats in the line?

Yes and no! The 31 has been dead, having been replaced by the 30 Mystique a year and a half ago.

That said, if you look at the edit dates on the jpg's of 12/18, 12/19, it's pretty clear they are still in the middle of getting everything up. I trust you'll see the 30 and perhaps one or two more in the near future.

Yea, it looks like they're adding a little more every day. See the video of the Tiger??!! SWEEEEET!! And the store is now up too. Whoever designed this web page did a nice job, WAY better than the last one.
