Default 35 Top Gun question.....

what type of top end speeds could you see with a 35' Top Gun, covergirl, 600's and bravos. i'm just wondering what kind of speeds you could attain with the conventional bottom and that setup? could you touch 80mph in freshwater?

thanks in advance,
chad

Where in fresh water? High Alt??? Most of these 35s with 600s ran about 78 MPH but it is possible with some real trick props you could acheive 80. Thanks Tres

Tres-

thanks for replying. i was kind of thinking it would be in the high 70's. running conditions would be high temps, high humidity at LOTO during the summer months.

thanks,
chad

i talked to BC about the brokered 35 at your place. i'm early in the search process, so i'm just trying to compile a few boats that may work for me.

thanks,
chad

Chad I have also looked at them, Raymonds has one with 500's. I also have talked to BC about that one.

Lots of choices....

VB - yeah, i really think that a 38' is better suited for me. it is a nice set up though. raymond's has had that boat forever. they just keep sitting on it......

I've got my 89 Cafe with Pulse drives. I am putting in new 530's. I'll let you know what the top end is once the motors are broken in. We are looking to touch 80...

I've got a 35' Cafe 1990, so it's a little earlier on the style of the hull. 502 blower motors - I'm guessing 625-650hp - with Bravos. I don't test the mph much, but I have seen 77gps.
