Default Cockpit flooring......

does anyone have detailed pictures of your cockpit floor? i'm installing Lonwave in Speed Racer and would like to get some ideas. the cockpit floor is 6'3" wide, but the Lonwave comes in a 6' wide role. the logical way to run it, would leave a small amount of the floor showing on each side. is there 1 1/2" of floor showing on each side of your cockpit, just curious?

thank in advance,
chad

craig-

the total measurement from the cabin entrance to the bulkhead located behind the rear seat is 7' 6". i will be removing the back seat, which will allow me to run it all the way to the bulkhead, so that the floor located under the rear seat is covered too.

cigarette- thanks for the help. i had wondered if that is how they did it. not having looked at a roll of it, i was unsure as to how the wave pattern ran compared to the roll.

carter31- the flooring can be purchase through Lonseal if you go through a marine manufacturing company. unfortunately, they do not sell directly to consumers. your local marina may be able to purchase is for you. you can obtain it from Cigarette, but i'm sure you will be paying quite a bit more.

I put it in my Nordic last spring. Cigarette is right, make sure to use the two part epoxy from lonseal so it doesnt bleed through.
