Default herrings on tiger?

Just wondeirng about herrings for the tiger. what do you think the speed increase would be? midrange increase?. the boat is currently running 500efis with non labbed bravo 4 blade 28's and hitting 81 bouncing off the rev limiter. post thoughts about the 5 blades and the 6 blades

IF your hitting the rev limiter go up one size and get labbed. Sounds like your currently underproped.

I did the same thing at the beginning of the summer and gained 2.5 MPH.

Hot Boat had your rig in their test at 82.3 MPH must of been labbed prop on it then.

Cannot help you with Hering's but Phil Lipshutz would know all about those.

Lab the 30's. That should put you right at 5200.

If you get labbed 30's it should get you within 500 rpm from where you were with the 28's. You won't hit the rev limiter then, might gain a couple MPH also. That is what I experienced with my Cig last spring.

From what I have read a 5 blade might help with cruise efficiency, take offs and so forth no as much on top speed.

For a beautiful rig like that, I do not see the sense in not running labbed props at all, unless you bang up props a lot.
