Hey 2112 motors are u going with

Sick;

I have to tell you I am a Ford guy. I have repowered my previous two boats with big power Fords.

I am having the boat built with 525 efi's. I wanted the rigging to be complete when I got it. There is a chance I will stay with that power but I am very inclined to build the mounting system for Fords and repower right away and sell the merc's as new.

I fabricate my own 4 point solid mounting system. The forward motor will be easy since I use marine (Merc?)bellhousings with the Borg-Warner bolt pattern. I have two fresh 572 inch, Robert Yates head engines in my Fountain right now (way too much power for that boat). I may use those and have Stellings headers built just like yours.

The big draw for the staggered engines was the room I could use to power with 572 inch Boss 429 engines. The headers are custom either way. Power difference would be minimal. It just the ultimate Ford expression for me.

If you noticed, I have port side steering and the starboard motor is forward.

I'll attach a picture of my current Ford engines.

Deck#2 onto deck #1 and get rid of that light grey stripe that runs down the middle of deck#2.That definetly does not belong there.
Also,I wanted to go with port side steering,but was talked out of it.I think the boat would be easier to drive.Whats your feeling on it.

One sick glad,please comment as well.

I am VERY right handed. I have had two other offshore boats and although both were starboard side driver seats, one of them (a Warlock) had right handed throtttles and I had a much easier time operating them at a level I was happy with.

I could have had right hand throttles with right side drive but that would have required the "wide version" cockpit which I did not like as well.
