lucky strike your correct the first sneaky pete was in the hennessy an benihana, that boat wasa maxum with straight 6's came close in 1976 but broke a water hose 2 miles from finish. its not the maxums we know today ,his was the same as a 23 formula,after that he ( pete begovich) owner of sneakypete 1 sold it and it became a fishing boat and he purchase the 28 open from arnolds boat basin and named it sneaky pete II a 1973 28 open
